テキスタイルクリエーター・ファッションイラストレーター
テキスタイルコーディネーター、テキスタイルデザイナーとして長年大手繊維専門商社に勤務。
日本のアパレルをクライアントとしてテキスタイル企画に携わると同時に、
ファッショントレンドセミナー、テキスタイル展示会を企画運営。
日本、東アジアのテキスタイル産地やヨーロッパの展示会を毎年訪問し、ファッションテキスタイルの変遷を見続けてきた。
その間イギリス・ブライトンで数年間過ごし、日本の会社とのコラボレーションによる
テキスタイルトレンドWeb(Studio Falo)を企画運営。ロンドン、パリ、ミラノなどの各都市を
独自に取材しテキスタイルトレンド情報を発信。
テキスタイル講師を経て、2022年ステュディオアッカを立ち上げる。
美しい生活を叶えるテキスタイル、幸せを感じるテキスタイルをモットーに、
かねてからの憧れだった模様の世界をハンドメイドのシルクスクリーンで表現。
雑貨やウォールハンギングなどを制作。
Hiromi Shimura was a textile coordinator and textile designer for the textile speciality trading
company in Japan over the decades. Involved in the fashion business, she designed textiles,
planning and conducting fashion trend seminars and textile exhibitions . Her passion for
textiles made her long time devotion in the business. Visiting producing area of textile in Japan and East Asia or exhibitions in European countries to search beautiful textiles influenced her greatly.
During that time she lived in Brighton, UK for several years and run textile trend website
which source from London, Paris, Milan and other cities by her report.
After teaching textiles at the fashion design college in Tokyo,
she started her textile brand STUDIO HACCA.
Her handmade silkscreen prints are for happiness and beauty of lifestyle.
一方でファッションデザインスクールの頃からファッションイラストレーションの世界に魅せられ、服をデザインすることよりもイラストで表現することを得意とした。
長い間発表することはなかったが、ステュディオアッカ立ち上げ後、再度チャレンジを決意。
現在は水彩画とハンドスケッチをもとにミクストメディアで表現。
スコットランドのニットブランドERIBE と契約。
Meanwhile, she has been fascinated by fashion illustration since her school days of fashion design college. she realized her illustrations were much better than her design for garments.
After started her textile brand, she decided to challenge for drawing fashion illustration again which never had been exposed to the public for her intention for long time.
Her illustrations are created with watercolors ,hand sketches, mixed media and great passion.
Now her work on the web of ERIBE, a fabulous knit brand from Scotland.
